[digiKam-users] DK 7.2 operating from an USB3 toaster

DK 7.2 appimage on Linux (don't know yet which one) most likely
Opnsuse Leap 15.3 KDE or Manjaro KDE.

I was using DK on 7.2 on Manjaro KDE. My desktop fried (literally).
I'm getting a Lenovo laptop replacement.

My DK stuff (db + images) where (Manjaro) on a separate sata2 drive
(/dev/sdb1). I have fully recovered that drive. I'd like to use DK
and the db on the latop while all the images will be on my USB 3
toaster.

Is this scenario usable?
