[digiKam-users] Crashing on exit

DK 5.9.0 appimage on Manjaro

It worked no problem until I exited. It's stuck in doing the file
synchronization (of the xmps).

Here's the output of htop (@14minutes)

I only updated 5 images (captions & tags)

26 minutes, so far: 5 cores @ 100% of an 8 core cpu

The 6 tasks running:
* 5: digikam
* 1: the screen capture program

Did you enable the lazy metadata synchronosation option in DK setup metadata dialog page ?

When exiting, it said: synchronizing. Applying pending changes to
metadata. 2 CPUs 100% for 3.5 hrs and no disk IO (neither reads, nor
writes).

yes, this option do the synchronization of pending metadata changes performed while digiKam session at end.
