[digiKam-users] Configure Language in Digikam 7.1

Hi team,

I would like to know if , as I wrote it few days ago, the language setting is not working in Digikam 7.1 and 7.2.0 beta?

"I installed the 7.2.0 beta. Now the list of languages is available in the language setting window and it's possible to choose.

Unfortunately this choice is not working.

I tried installing 7.2.0 with 2 differents package, I restarted Digikam several times, I also restarted my computer. Nothing. The interface remain in english ???

Hi,

I check with AppImage and MacOS bundles, and problem is not solved and
reproducible with both architectures. I don't yet check Windows
version, but i suspect that problem will be also here.

Please report this problem to bugzilla. We will investigate.

The reason that the translation does not work could have been:

We'll see when Gilles has built new packages.

I just recompiled the digiKam 7.2.0-beta1 PKG bundle for MacOS
including PR pointed by Maik. It' online at usual place here :

https://files.kde.org/digikam/

Please check if the problem remains...

Hi,

I have just installed the new 7.2.0 beta 1 pkg bundle for Mac Os and I'm happy to inform you that it works perfectly in my language : French.
