[digiKam-users] Configure Language in Digikam 7.1

Hello,

I'm using a Mac with Mac OS 10.14.6 ( Mojave).
I have just installed -two times,with two different package- the 7.1
version of Digikam and I can't configure my language : French.
In the "Configure Language" setting window, there is no other choice
that English ???
That's to bad because in the prior version the interface was available
in French.
Can you help me ?

Hi,

Typically, ann language must be packaged including French of course.

Perhaps there is something wrong with log at PKG build stage. I will take a look

I can confirm the missing of all translation files in Mac OS PKG. It's
due to Apple removing the subversion CLI program from the development
official tools list. Subversion was still used to checkout all
translations files while PKG compilation, and error appeared silently.

Problem will be fixed in 7.2.0 beta 1 this morning. File will be
available here :

Thank you Gilles for your prompt response.

I installed the 7.2.0 beta. Now the list of languages is available in the language setting window and it's possible to choose.

Unfortunately this choice is not working.

I tried installing 7.2.0 with 2 differents package, I restarted Digikam several times, I also restarted my computer. Nothing. The interface remain in english ???
