I apologize for my English, I use a translator, but the question is simple.

As i can see in Help/Supported Raw Camera dialog, The canon 1DX Mark III is not yet supported in 7.0.0-rc using Libraw engine, but it's just a question of time (:=)))... HEIF files must work as expected with the bundles that we provide : https://files.kde.org/digikam/ What do you seen in the console under Linux or MacOS ? Look in libraw engine source code to know the current implementation
status about new camera : https://github.com/LibRaw/LibRaw/blob/d1975cb0e055d2bfe58c9d845c9a3e57c346a2f9/src/tables/cameralist.cpp Search "mark III" and look like only the Canon EOS-1D X Mark II is supported not yet the Mark III version. So you need to be patient, or report this problem to libraw team through github issue tracker. Wait a little bit, i recompile Appimage bundles with the new version
of libheif/libde265. New AppImage 7.0.0-RC have been published yesterday evening. Can you reproduce the problem under Linux ? Hi,
I tried with digikam-7.0.0-rc-20200502T111802-x86-64.appimage: no news. HIF files are not shown in the import window. are you sure that HIF is HEIF container ? Can you share a sample file ? Yes your HIF file is a kind specific HEIF file.
