Hi,
I am using digikam on Windows 10. While it can open HEIF images just fine I cannot seem to move or delete these files. When I try to move a HEIF file it fails saying: Could not move PATH_X to album PATH_Y. When I try to delete a HEIF image it says: Could not move XXX to collection Trash. While I can understand that there might lack some functionality in modifying HEIF files, I do not understand why digikam cannot move or delete the actual files. If I do this in a file manager it works just fine so it is not a permissions problem or something related to the actual file not being possible to move. BR Thomas |

The one available for download at the digikam site prebuilt for Windows. I downloaded it yesterday. tor. 25. jun. 2020 kl. 17.06 skrev Gilles Caulier <[hidden email]>: Hi, |
The problem was known and has been fixed in the current digiKam-7.0.0 -RC
version. I'll test it again on a Windows machine tomorrow. Did you download the version from here: https://files.kde.org/digikam/ Maik Am Donnerstag, 25. I just checked the version. It is 6.4.0. I see on your link there is a https://files.kde.org/digikam/digiKam-7.0.0-20200621T144222-Win64.exe which is newer. Is this a real release? Or is this some kind of preview/beta? Den tor. 25. jun. 2020 kl. 17.56 skrev Maik Qualmann <[hidden email]>: The problem was known and has been fixed in the current digiKam-7.0.0 -RC |
Yes, it is a pre-release. The release will be in July, there will be no more big changes. I am currently in the phase of testing everything intensively again. It is clear that the problem with digiKam-6.4.0 occurs. In digiKam-7.0.0 over 740 bugs were fixed. Maik Am Fr., 26. Juni 2020 um 09:11 Uhr schrieb Thomas D <[hidden email]>:
