[digiKam-users] Cannot change date/time on one specific picture

woenx
The title says it all. I have one picture whose date I cannot change. I have
checked and I have write permissions to the file. I use the metadata editor
and apparently the new date is applied correctly (it even appears in the
metadata), but Digikam still reads and shows the old "Creation date". I
tried deleting any date/time related info using the metadata editor (in both
exif, xmp and IPTC), but the old date persists.

I even trying using an external editor (Picasa) and changing the date from
there, but with the same result. There must be some hidden field where a
date is stored and cannot be overwritten with the metadata editor.

Btw, it's a scanned image, not taken with a digital camera.

Any ideas?

I've been investigating. It turns out there's a "video" section on the XMP
metadata that still shows the old date. These fields are not present in
other pictures from the same folder. I don't see any way to edit that value.
It's as if digikam treats that specific picture as a video or something.

See the attached screen capture so you can see what I mean:

Should I open a bug report?
