[digiKam-users] --> Batch Date/Time Update Vídeos does not work ?

Alex Antão
Hi all,

Does anybody knows if its a known bug or anything else (searched but found nothing)?
I selected some videos on a album. Gone to Item -> Adjust Date/Time and select a subtration number. When I click apply, all vídeos on the left list get a stop sign next to it.
I can successfully update the time on each video if on the "Tags?" (or legend, or titles. Don't know the translation used)  panel.

Thanks....

Hi,

Video are read only even if for mp4 format, It's can be possible to patch metadata with ffmpeg. But i don't implement this kind of workflow as all others format still in read only, and the metadata syntax is not homogeneous in ffmpeg.

Typically, for all video files, you need to use XMP sidecar. Look in Setup/metadata config panel for details.

Best
