[digiKam-users] Are Digikam 5.9 and 6.0 beta databases compatible?

If I try the Digikam 6.0 Beta will it work with my existing Digikam 5.9
database *and* allow me to return to using 5.9 without serious issues?

Yes, and possibly no.

Just backup the database and restore it afterwards if it doesn't work, no
big deal.
