Dear all, digikam 7.0.0 appImage on Ubuntu 20.04.1 LTS. When opening JPEG images SOC (Fuji X-T1 with firmware 5.51) with associated colour profile Adobe RGB(1998) digikam does not recognise the existence of the colour profile, and simply marks it down as uncalibrated .... that is a bit of a problem. GIMP 2.8.10 and other software seem to recognise it well. Is there a solution? Are we doing something wrong? It may be a bug .... Thank you. Corrado |
Can you share the file somewhere on the cloud to try to reproduce the
problem here ? Thanks in advance Gilles Caulier Le ven. 28 août 2020 à 19:51, <[hidden email]> a écrit : > > > Dear all, > > digikam 7.0.0 appImage on Ubuntu 20.04.1 LTS. > > When opening JPEG images SOC (Fuji X-T1 with firmware 5.51) with > associated colour profile Adobe RGB(1998) digikam does not recognise > the existence of the colour profile, and simply marks it down as > uncalibrated .... that is a bit of a problem. Dear Gilles,
I share with you a file you attached to the email. If you cannot download it from the email, please, look at this link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1tvssY6avJPJmui5Y4sZkcxa0Q6Ob4ghh/view?usp=sharing Unfortunately, I can only leave the file on the drive for 48 hours. On Ubuntu the file is recognised as Adobe RGB (1998) compatible by GIMP (2.8.10) and by DarkTable (3.2.1). Either I am doing something wrong, or there is a little bug with digikam.
