If you made a upgrade from Maverick to Natty and not a clean new Natty
installation you can get these upgrade problems with old libkdcraw as the maverick packages have bad version naming. I made a mistake back with beta3 on maverick giving the packages a version name of beta3+git and that "+" is a higher version number than "-". I made the packages for natty as they should be. I might make a small renaming of libkdcraw with the next beta release to fix this problem once and for all. This problem only happens for people who have upgraded to natty from maverick. If this happens for you on Natty then uninstall libkdcraw-20, libkexiv2-10, libkface-1 and libkmap-1. It will also unistall digikam2 and kipi-plugins2 etc. Then reinstall digikam2, kipi-plugins2 and showfoto2. Now you should be back in business again. Don't forget that you now also have packages with the help files in digikam2-doc kipi-plugins2-doc and showfoto2-doc. Sorry for the inconvenience. /Philip On Thu, May 12, 2011 at 2:35 PM, sleepless <[hidden email]> wrote: > in synaptic I see as installed: > libkdcraw9 4:4.6.2-natty ppa1 > libkdcraw-20 2.0.0+maverick~ppa1kde46 > > > Op 12-05-11 14:14, Benjamin Harders schreef: >> -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- >> Hash: SHA1 >> >>>> $ digikam >>>> QSqlDatabasePrivate::removeDatabase: connection 'ConnectionTest' is >>>> still in use, all queries will cease to work. >>>> digikam: symbol lookup error: digikam: undefined symbol: >>>> _ZN11KDcrawIface12RExpanderBox12readSettingsER12KConfigGroup >>> and after that dk disappears >>> >>> Tried a couple of suggestions found on the internet >> Did you install the last version of libKDcraw? >> -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- >> Version: GnuPG v2.0.16 (GNU/Linux) >> Comment: Using GnuPG with SUSE - http://enigmail.mozdev.org/ >> >> iQEbBAEBAgAGBQJNy88NAAoJEJiq7tQPRElPdUkH+MribdAzkBBchb6GGXNkFbvC >> q1sE/rBiJnSL/6Bsh1Dq5lLzvDxR/vdJIo2h2+AitSlAq0/WRirG8E78O1zEyE0O >> uBFLHcW/mOUPzUqwoFWiC4KLc6l0dVp12WcDSfnhcDdZSdhMZnAcfWK5GmMmOqPT >> NqHCnDX4O+PT7MkE88jGFHsUwwNTntxT0b19jf3staggc5WTyZlxJHrY+x2h41R4 >> wX8EE6scgYZQc6dAUUZ2Z/MdjnFeoB9tCXoOXPQrzlcXWS1qVE8NpZPiy09/D2Y8 >> zhuWb1jC25+4LCdYP5hP0rSPY7g2Xq3czzG2FBY9CmVsPE0o7rWmdjtlUvKEQw== >> =kwr5 >> -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- >> _______________________________________________ >> Digikam-users mailing list >> [hidden email] >> https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users >> > > _______________________________________________ > Digikam-users mailing list > [hidden email] > https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users > Digikam-users mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users |
