Hi Jan, Thanks for the reply, but I can Not Exchange the sqlite package. How should I do that? Can you give me a detailed explanation. I found the deb package. But the install failed. I use kubuntu 14.04 fully actualized.
Best regards/Christian

I suppose on your system is sqlite 3.8.2 installed. You should update to 3.8.6. For me, this fixed the problem.

To resize I use the batch konversion or the email - send option - so I don't need that.

here the details of my crash at the Resize.Kubuntu 14.04,

Re: digiKam Software Collection 4.4.0 is out...

Jan Wolter
Hello Christian,

some weeks ago a made the following steps to update sqlite on my Linux Mint 17 (which depends as well as your Kubuntu 14.04 on Ubuntu 14.04):
1. Download the packages sqlite3 [1] and libsqlite3-0 [2] from the upcoming new Ubuntu version 14.10, "Utopic".
2. Save both .deb packages in a new folder.
3. Call in the folder: sudo dpkg -i *.deb

After these steps, my sqlite was updated, which prevent digiKam from crashing all the time.

Best regards,
Jan

/ best regards

Christian
