When trying to install latest version of digiKam, the install crashes while
searching to close conflicting programs. Looking at event log, I get the following: Faulting application name: digiKam-5.7.0-02-Win64.exe, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x57358da0 Faulting module name: ntdll.dll, version: 10.0.15063.608, time stamp: 0x802f667e Exception code: 0xc0000005 Fault offset: 0x0005da74 Faulting process id: 0xac0 Faulting application start time: 0x01d330ed751d27d8 Faulting application path: C:\Users\d3dun\Downloads\digiKam-5.7.0-02-Win64.exe Faulting module path: C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\ntdll.dll Report Id: c174f419-92ca-43e1-9aee-b8829d62a37d Faulting package full name: Faulting package-relative application ID: Had Version 5.6 installed and running, but get message when trying to upgrade existing installation or clean install. Had to use an uninstaller to remove V5.6 as the uninstall app would go into a loop. Running Win10-64bit. Same problem here, while searching to close conflicting programs:
