Dear all digiKam fans and users!
2nd 1.0.0 beta release of digiKam is published... To read full announce, please look at: http://www.digikam.org/node/464 Happy digiKam Gilles Caulier digiKam project http://www.digikam.org _______________________________________________ Digikam-users mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users |
Thanks for the release!
It would be fine to add a remark to the readme and digikam web that the installation prefix should be the same as the one of KDE. In Ubuntu, KDE is installed in /usr, while cmake takes /usr/local as the default prefix. As a result, kio-slaves of digikam are not found (there have been bugs reported on this topic) and no image displayed. regards, Milan Gilles Caulier píše v Po 06. 07. 2009 v 08:19 +0200: > Dear all digiKam fans and users! > > 2nd 1.0.0 beta release of digiKam is published... > > To read full announce, please look at: > > http://www.digikam.org/node/464 > > Happy digiKam > > Gilles Caulier > digiKam project > http://www.digikam.org > _______________________________________________ > Digikam-users mailing list > [hidden email] > https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users > knizek (dot) confy (at) volny (dot) cz http://www.milan-knizek.net - About linux and photography (Czech language only) _______________________________________________ Digikam-users mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users |
$(kde4-config --prefix) in the cmake command should give the right path all
the time... Running simple $ cmake . ends up with /usr/local as installation prefix on my system.
