Marcel, Andi,

As digiKam 0.10.0 tarball is done, what do you think about to move 0.11 devel branch to trunk now ?

Bugzilla from andi.clemens@gmx.net
I think it is ok, we could move trunk to a 0.10 branch if we like, but
actually there is no need for that...

Yes, would be more according to convention to make trunk the more advanced, active development branch again. But let's announce a date a week or two in advance to clear up internal git branches for Andi and me.

ok. i let's you manage 0.11 with trunk

but unforget that we don't need to do a 0.10.1 release. 0.11.0 is enough.

So code in trunk is frozen for me...

Ok...
So we need no more backports at all. Trunk will be copied to tags/0.10.0. Then we move branch-0.11 to trunk? Simply with svn mv?
Andi, what's your point of view? Should we do it on the weekend?

yes. 0.11 is an exact state of trunk + others improvements and BQM.

For me move trunk to tag and move 0.11 to trunk is fine

Really? Have all patches made to trunk also been ported to 0.11 branch?
If so I think we should simple copy it, because merging is going to be hell
(just tried it in my GIT repo here, after 20 minutes I nearly started to cry
:-)

Ok... need to move some local branches to trunk repo then.
Because I will not be able to work on them until WE and commit them.
But this shouldn't be a problem.

I guess I will be only available at Sunday (more towards the evening), but
actually I don't need to be present :)

So the sum it up: We could / should move the 0.11 branch to trunk again at the
weekend...
