Hello list,
after upgrading to digikam 0.8 on my debian system I've got a problem. digikam tells me it cannot convert the database to the new format (german message: "Das Aktualisieren der Datenbank von dem alten Format auf das Neue ist fehlgeschlagen."). What can I do now? I don't want to enter all the data again. joerg@kruemel:~$ digikam -v Qt: 3.3.5 KDE: 3.4.3 digiKam: 0.8.0 joerg@kruemel:~$ uname -a Linux kruemel 2.6.14lexlight #1 Wed Nov 9 11:48:33 CET 2005 i686 GNU/Linux Thanks for your help in advance! Hi Achim,
Hi list, Achim Bohnet wrote : > start digikam from konsole and send us the output. There's no output at all, only the message box. Since I did not use digikam for some weeks, it is possible the error was caused by some other changes on my system. I checked the picture folder and digikam.db for read/write permissions and ~/.kde/share/config/digikamrc for strange settings but all looks ok to me. After digikam exits a file digikam3.db is created which contains seven empty tables and one table 'Settings' with two entries. digikam.db contains about 40 albums, a lot of pictures and looks ok to me. Any idea? Thank you! Joerg _______________________________________________ Digikam-users mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users |

Can you send me your database to my mail account? ...
