creating useful crash reports, kubuntu

Arnd Baecker
Hi,

I just added the excellent link given by
Philip Rodrigues in http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=147466
to http://www.digikam.org/?q=contrib

Reading that text and the number of non-useful bug reports
made me wonder concerning the kubuntu packages,
whether also -dbg packages could be provided?
(Achim, I have not the slightest idea how much work that would
be - so this is nothing else but a thought ...;-)

Best, Arnd

Take a look at http://techbase.kde.org/Development/Tutorials/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports . There's lots of info about getting useful backtraces there.
