crash when opening Settings/Configure digikam

Bugzilla from paneves@ualg.pt
Hi all:

When I open the settings menu in digikam and select Configure digikam,
the program instantly crashes.

This is what I get from kcrash (I'm using Debian sid, and Digikam 0.9.3
beta3 from the experimental repository):

Using host libthread_db library "/lib/libthread_db.so.1".
[Thread debugging using libthread_db enabled]

Any clues? The other menus from settings all work well.

Thanks in advance:

Pedro Neves

I'm just wild-guessing.
I had such a crash recently and it was related to a indigestible icc profile.
If you think it could be your case (because you changed a setting in color
management recntly), go the ~/.kde/share/config/digikamrc and comment out the
icc path.
