Sorry, i forget about it...

digiKam 0.8.0
llibgphoto2 2.1.6
gphoto2 2.1.6

I use driver "Canon Digital IXUS 30 (PTP Mode)" on port "usb:" (auto from Camera->Add camera).

Well, in this case i suspect a problem with the libgphoto2 Canon camera
driver. I recommend you to try the libgphoto 2.2.x where the Canon drivers
have benn very improved (dixit gphoto2 team)
