DigiKam 1.2 works fine on openSUSE 11.3/KDE 4.4. But when I update to the 1.4
package, DigiKam won't start anymore, saying: digikam: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/libdigikamcore.so.1: undefined symbol: _ZN11KDcrawIface19RawDecodingSettingsaSERKS0_ I have checked libkipi, lidexive2 and libkdcraw, and these are all up-to-date. So, what's the problem with Digikam 1.4? _______________________________________________ Digikam-users mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users |

So, what's the problem with Digikam 1.4? The libkdcraw that your digikam 1.4 package is compiled with is not the libkdcraw you have installed. _______________________________________________ Digikam-users mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users |
Thanks, Marcel. Since I can't manage to get the DigiKam tarball installed
(persistent CMake error), I'll probably have to stick to version 1.2 until the kdegraphics4 package has been updated. Can live with that. -- Martin On Monday 04 October 2010 14:16:27 Marcel Wiesweg wrote: > > DigiKam 1.2 works fine on openSUSE 11.3/KDE 4.4. In the same repository as the digikam 1.4, there is also an updated libkdcraw, which did not get updated automatically (I had the same problem). Do it manually. (cannot check exact version and name because I'm not at my suse machine atm) Sebastian > > > DigiKam 1.2 works fine on openSUSE 11.3/KDE 4.4. 'Tis not in my KDE:UpdatedApps repository, and I could not find it in others
either. Maybe you are pointing at an SVN repository? I'm relectant to use that since this is my work PC. Thanks for the tip anyway. -- Martin On Monday 04 October 2010 21:40:03 Sebastian Schubert wrote: > Hi, > > On Monday 04 October 2010 18:09:38 Martin Grashoff wrote: > > Thanks, Marcel. Correction! It's package likdcraw8, in the KDE:UpdatedApps repository. DigiKam
1.4.0 is up & running. Marcel & Sebastian, thanks! -- Martin On Monday 04 October 2010 21:40:03 Sebastian Schubert wrote: > Hi, > > On Monday 04 October 2010 18:09:38 Martin Grashoff wrote: > > Thanks, Marcel.
