crash

Martin Grashoff
DigiKam 1.2 works fine on openSUSE 11.3/KDE 4.4. But when I update to the 1.4
package, DigiKam won't start anymore, saying:

digikam: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/libdigikamcore.so.1: undefined symbol:
_ZN11KDcrawIface19RawDecodingSettingsaSERKS0_
I have checked libkipi, lidexive2 and libkdcraw, and these are all up-to-date.
So, what's the problem with Digikam 1.4?

The libkdcraw that your digikam 1.4 package is compiled with is not the
libkdcraw you have installed.

Thanks, Marcel. Since I can't manage to get the DigiKam tarball installed
(persistent CMake error), I'll probably have to stick to version 1.2 until the
kdegraphics4 package has been updated. Can live with that.

In the same repository as the digikam 1.4, there is also an updated libkdcraw,
which did not get updated automatically (I had the same problem). Do it
manually. (cannot check exact version and name because I'm not at my suse
machine atm)

'Tis not in my KDE:UpdatedApps repository, and I could not find it in others
either. Maybe you are pointing at an SVN repository? I'm relectant to use that
since this is my work PC. Thanks for the tip anyway.

In reply to this post by Sebastian Schubert-2
Correction! It's package likdcraw8, in the KDE:UpdatedApps repository. DigiKam
1.4.0 is up & running. Marcel & Sebastian, thanks!
