completely off topic ubuntu nautilus slider question

[Rinus]

Those slider thing in nautilus and some other places are so hard to grap
that my nerve system starts to fail at times, this situation is
dangerous to my computer and the windows too. Is there some place to
change a setting to have a good old fashioned stable thick continuously
windows like slider?

Indeed, the new overlay scrollbars are ridiculous. To disable them:
