can't delete album

Franck Collineau
Hello !

When I launch digikam a message tells me that It seems 2 albums are
miising etc .. do you want to delete them ?
I click Yes
then a second box with It seems 24 files are missing etc .. do you want
to delete them ?
I click yes
But when digikam is launched, I have always these albums and digikam
doesn't want to delete them: "the file or folder doesn't exist" !

How can I delete them ?

Thanks
Franck

Is the digikam3.db writable? Can you start digiKam from the konsole and copy &
paste any messages shown there here?

Hi,

Can you do a:
sqlite3 /path/to/digikam.db

and then do:
select * from Albums where id=612;

and:
select * from Albums where url like '%FamilleAlain%'

Did you ever compile trunk from svn?

gr.

Toma

Hi !

Here are the outputs:
sqlite> select * from Albums where id=612;
612|/FamilleAlain/2001|2006-01-29T17:55:52|||

sqlite> select * from Albums where url like '%FamilleAlain%';
611|/FamilleAlain|2006-01-29T17:55:52|||
612|/FamilleAlain/2001|2006-01-29T17:55:52|||

I have never complied from svn.

Ok. Weird, I dont understand. Do you use nfs or any other sort of shared
folder? If not, can you send me the database in a private mail?

Hi,

This looks good, and when I try it with your database all works ok  I have no
explanation, unless you use nfs/sambafs.  Can't help you.
