camera detected but no download possible

Hi all

My Camera (Nikon D300) is detected, but I am not able to download
pictures in PTP mode.
I tried also the Generic PTP device.
The download with the USB mass storage profile works perfect.

I use digikam 0.9.4 from the installation package, I was not able to
compile 0.10.beta2
I made a total new installation Debian (Lenny) 2.6.26 and KDE4.1
Before I had Debian (Lenny) 2.6.24 with Gnome installed,
all pictures where downloaded from the same camera without any issues.

Any Idea is welcome.

It's always th e same. PTP protocol is controled by libgphoto2. Check if you use the last version.
 

The download with the USB mass storage profile works perfect.

The driver come from digiKam. It's completly different.
