I want to increase the exif date/time information on a bunch of
pictures. I know this is possible on import, but I only realised later (when getting pics from a different camera) that they were off. With the edit metadata tool I can only adjust the date/time one by one image. In the batch queue I cannot find such a tool. Can someone point me to where this is done? I currently just keep using my shellscripts for this, but I would like to have all in one place, which is the only reason to use digikam for me: It can do lots of stuff. But that also means it is huge and thus not the fastest. Thanks in advance for your help. Hi Simon,
I hope I understand you correctly, but you can just select multiple images and then do Image > Adjust date and time (Bild > Zeit und Datum anpassen). Then you can shift all selected images by the same amount of time. It is not only for a single image. Hi Joram,
You do understand correctly what I want to do. But I do not have a menu Image in either the top menu bar nor the right click menu (using the digikam5 beta). The closest match is the Item menu, but there is no Adjust date and time entry, just the already mentioned Edit Metadata which does not allow batch shifting date/time (as far as I can see). The Time Adjust kipi tool for digiKam 5 have been moved to digiKam BQM just few days ago. It will arrive at next release. I am using digikam 4.14.0. Do you use a newer version? As Gilles points
out, there are apparently some changes going on (with the intent to have the functionality back in the end). Yes that is it, the dangers of using betas :)
Not really a problem, just means I will keep doing the time adjust/rename stuff with my shell scripts until the feature is back again. Thanks Joram and Gilles for the help/clarification.
