Windows Version not working anymore

Hello there,

I cannot get the windows version to work anymore (3.5, 4.1 or 4.2)

First kio_thumbnail crashes a few times and then the Main Window just freezes.

Is there a way to update kio_thumbnail? Or any other work around?

Okay some additional information to that.

Most likely it is due to the fact that I use a MySQL database. If I use a local database then digikam works without problems.

Anyone with running 4.x on Windows with a network setup? Pictures and Database on a server?
