Where is the Wikimedia Commons Kipi plugin?

Does anyone know what happened to the Wikimedia Commons Kipi plugin? Is there any chance that it will be included in the upcoming version of digiKam? Thanks!

This tool is currently disable due to some missing implementation
about metadata to post to wikipedia with content.

Tool is disable. A student working on and a patch is available. We
waiting feedback from Guillaume PAumier from wikipedia to validate and
turn it in production.
