What are the main differences between 0.9.5 and 0.10.0?

I have just upgraded my system from xubuntu 8.10 to xubuntu 9.04 and
as a result have move from digikam 0.9.6 to 0.10.0.  What are the main
differences I should see -mif any?

I know I can now have multiple root albums, how does this work (please
just point me to some documentation)?
