Weird RAW import in digiKam 1.8

Knut Krause
I just upgrade to digiKam 1.8 and if I import a RAW image it is imported as
normal. Now I try to adjust the exposure and it seems to work fine until it's
getting very overexposed all of the sudden. If I go down with the exposure
again it's getting worse and worse.

Any ideas? I use digiKam 1.8 (as said) on gentoo with following components:

digiKam version 1.8.0
Exiv2 kann in JP2 speichern: Ja
Exiv2 kann in JPEG speichern: Ja
Exiv2 kann in PGF speichern: Ja
Exiv2 kann in PNG speichern: Ja
Exiv2 kann in TIFF speichern: Ja
Exiv2 unterstützt XMP-Metadaten: Ja
LibCImg: 130
LibClapack: external shared library
LibExiv2: 0.21
LibJPEG: 80
LibJasper: 1.900.1
LibKDE: 4.5.5 (KDE 4.5.5)
LibKExiv2: 1.1.0
LibKdcraw: 1.1.0
LibLCMS: 119
LibLensFun: external shared library
LibLqr: internal library
LibPGF: 6.09.44 - external shared library
LibPNG: 1.4.5
LibQt: 4.7.1
LibRaw: 0.11.3
LibTIFF: LIBTIFF, Version 3.9.4 Copyright (c) 1988-1996 Sam Leffler Copyright
(c) 1991-1996 Silicon Graphics, Inc.
Marble-Funktion: 0.10.3
Parallelisiertes Entfernen von Mosaikmustern: Ja
Database internal server: Keine
Datenbanktreiber: QMYSQL
LibGphoto2: 2.4.9
LibKipi: 1.1.0

(kann in _ speichern: Ja means "can save to _: yes" btw … damn localisation)

Is there somewhere an update needed/recommended?

regards

Knut

Re: Weird RAW import in digiKam 1.8

Knut Krause
Oh tanks, haven't found this. Looks like I'll have to revert to digiKam 1.7
then since this is a kinda severe bug to me.

Re: Weird RAW import in digiKam 1.8

Anders Stedtlund
Hi,

If you haven't seen it allready, there's a correction made for the
bug. I have rebuilt 1.8.0 with that and it works now!
