Washed-out color

Ernest Lau
I keep getting photos with washed-out / over-blown color whenever I run "Auto Level" > "Unsharp Mask" > "Convert to Jpeg" for my jpeg photos in Batch Queue Manager. I have tried both Digikam 1.2 & 1.3 and got the same results. What have I done wrongly? Or what should I have done but didn't?

I have no problem editing individual photos one by one. I am running Ubuntu 10.04. Please help.

best,
ernest

What settings do you use for the unsharp mask? I tend to get that with a
radius < 1
