The images are NOT in the trash.
WHERE are they.

Where are images put when selecting Image > Move to Trash.

False alarm.
The images were there, but less than I expected.
And trying to restore the images from the trash did not work via context
menu. So I have to copy them to somewhere else and rename them all. kde bug
... well, nothing new.
