Video Slideshow

Robin Klitscher
Running digiKam 5.7.0 on openSUSE Leap 42.3, KDE Plasma desktop.

On building a video slideshow using random transition effects between
slides, a couple of the available transition effects are not well suited
to the context at hand.

Is it possible to build a video slideshow with random transition effects
but excluding (for example) the “Mosaic” transition?  If so, how might I
go about this?

No, currently this options is not implemented to select a specific set of transition to random while encoding.

That's pretty clear; thank you for your reply.

From your wording, however, can I dare to hope that a selective option
for slide transitions may be offered in the future???

All is possible. Report this wish in a bugzilla entry.
