Upgrade error

Neil Winchurst-2
I use Mandriva2006. I have just upgraded my version of digikam to
version 0.8.0 using the configure your computer upgrade method. Now when
I try to run it I get the following error message.

symbol lookup error: digikam :  undefined symbol:  _ZN12AlbumManagerC1Ev

Can anyone of you experts help please?

I use (and develop) digiKam under Mandriva 2006. There is _no_ problem (:=)))

Your installation is broken.  Perhaps a wrong RPM or somthing like that. I
recommend you to install digikam using source code tarballs.

Note  : the last stable is 0.8.1

Usually, this error is dued to incompatibilty between libraries. In this
case, have you upgraded digikam image plugins and all digikam libraries to
the new version?

If you saw my second email you will know that I added/upgraded two digikam libraries and now all is working well. Thanks. I am very pleased and happy with digikam. My first digital camera, and I am enjoying myself.
