Upgrade DigiKam on Macports

I installed DigiKam through Macports some time ago and it gave me version 4.0.0. Now I see that Macports has updated and now has 4.8.0 and I wish to install this. 

What steps do I need to take to upgrade my install? I'm looking around for tutorials online but I'm not finding anything.

"sudo port selfupdate"

...will update macports core as well and...

"sudo port upgrade outdated"

... must update all packages installed including digiKam. This can take a while.

To check at end :

"sudo port installed digiKam"

.. must return something about digiKam 4.8.0 installed
