Updated installer for Windows version?

The Windows version is still at 2.7.0, is there any benefit in moving
to 2.9.0? I assume it has many bug fixes but is there an updated KDE
installation to go with it, and does it matter if there is not?

Well, Windows installer is packaged by "Ananta Palani"
<[hidden email]>. I don't know if he has time to do it. Ask to
him directly please...
