Trojita email client

Hello,

Is there a reason whyTrojita email client isn't supported for images export
via email?

Because it's not implemented, and i don't know that a new mail client was yet created....

Just fill a whish is bugzilla about this topic...

Thanks Gilles, I will.

It is very light and very very fast imap client. It is Qt based and looks
like it is a part of KDE project as well.

Would this not be done via a KDE app link within the desktop? I would
not expect Digikam to need to know what the MUA is, it should simply
send the request to the client via the proper KDE API.

I tried it yesterday and what I got was a list of supported apps e.g. Thunderbird, Claws-mail, etc.
So it looks to me that some code needs to be added to digikam.

Exactly. The KDE control panel settings is only for KDE desktop. DK run on other ones, and under Windows, and MacOS. The implementation must be universal.

Note : Outlook and Apple Mail are not yet supported, but it's planed when time permit.
