Thumbnails generation mp4 files appimage

AndriusWild
Hello

I have noticed that digikam latest appimage does not generate thumbnails for mp4 files sometimes.
There is just nothing happening and that's it.
Restart or launch of the version from openSUSE packages helps.
Has anyone else seen the same problem?

hi,

probably, the mp4 files with no thumbs are H265 codec based video. Right ?

If yes, it's normal, the ffmpeg codecs collection used to build the AppImage do not contains this video decoder.

Can you share a video file through the cloud to test ?
