Subject for new pool on web project page...

Gilles Caulier-4
Hi all,

The current pool on web project page :

http://www.digikam.org/?q=node/188

... is very old. It's time to post a new one.

Are you suggestions ?

Gilles

We could use it to prioritize feature requests. When we have our bugs killer
weekend, we also could single out 10 wishes and put them into the poll.

Gerhard,

I have posted 5 items to a new poll :

http://www.digikam.org/?q=node/230

Fell free to add more items if necessary.

Personally, i vote for Batch Queue Manager...

1.) XMP metadata support
2.) Batch Queue manager
3.) Backup/Restore tool
4.) Database network support
5.) Non-destructive image editing

For 1.) and 5.) it is pretty clear to me what it means,
but for the other points I am not 100% sure,
could you maybe explain?

For example, do the above points relate to:
1.) http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=103201
3.) http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=133638
    http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=113715
5.) http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=103350
(discussed under the name "actions list")

So, are the topics of the vote obvious enough for users?
(E.g., should maybe an additional line of explanation be added?)

Best, Arnd

yes exaclty. All links to B.K.O are right...

So, are the topics of the vote obvious enough for users?

the topics in poll are general...

(E.g., should maybe an additional line of explanation be added?)

not sure. I think i really clear for users witch already use pro photo management program...

note :  2-3-4-5 need KDE4 port with new DB interface from Marcel.

Something wrong with polling. Didn't vote on this poll but cannot vote.

Anyway +1 for network *multiuser* database support.
