Strange thumbnail bar actions.

Bugzilla from thomas.cada@gmail.com
I am running Digikam 1.2.0 and have a very strange display of the
thumbnails in the thumbnail bar. This only occurs when displaying the
contents of an album with enough images so that all image thumbnails
cannot be displayed in the thumbnail window at the bottom or top of
the main window.

When an album is selected, the thumbnails of the images are displayed
in the main window. When I click on one to enlarge it, the thumbnail
window is created at the bottom of the main window. If the height of
the thumbnail window is a particular value, the thumbnails start to
enlarge and then shrink, with some thumbnails covering the one next to
it. Then they reverse their sizes and sit there sort of oscillating
back and forth.

If I click on a thumbnail eventually they will stop changing, but do
not assume their proper size. Eventually, the whole screen will grey
and then digikam dies from a segmentation fault.

When they thumbnails are changing back and forth, if the height of the
window is increased or decreased, the activity ceases and the
thumbnails are shown properly. If the window height is slowly adjusted
(either larger or smaller), the magic spot is found and the thumbnails
start their strange behavior.

I have created two screenshots that show the thumbnails moving and
changing size:

Any thoughts?

Tom.

This have been fixed by Marcel recently in svn. I have reproduced this

Look in Bugzilla entry #228807
