Soprano / Nepomuk

Ananta Palani
Good Morning,

I want to slim down the Windows digiKam release and I would like to know if Soprano is necessary for its operation? What about Nepomuk? Anything else that is unnecessary for digiKam to just operate in its own world?

Thanks,
-Ananta

Nepomuk/Soprano is not exactly needed for digiKam to work, it helps system integration, but it's not needed. I'm also not sure how well (if at all) is Nepomuk/Soprano supported on Windows, so it might not even make sense to have Nepomuk integration on Windows.
