That's a question to developers I guess. I just found that after batch rename album continues to misleadingly show old file names. Refresh doesn't help. I poked around and found Album/Sync with Database which did the right thing. Shouldn't db be transparently synced after mass operations? Otherwise current behavior is rather confusing and counterintuitive.
Thanks, Alec _______________________________________________ Digikam-users mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users |

Gilles,
My dK is 0.10.0. I'm running it under Mandriva 2009.1 and KDE 4.2.4. I just repeated mass rename starting dK from the console. Same result - I have to do explicit sync with db to get album view updated with new names. During rename stdout in console was repeating following: Object::connect: No such signal KIO::PreviewJob::gotPreview(const KFileItem*, const QPixmap&) Object::connect: (receiver name: 'RenameImagesBase') Hope this helps.
