Several photo on 2 differents computer

Fabrice Deydier
Hi,

I have 2 computers.
And I would like to consult my pictures with digikam on each one.

How can I transfer the several tags and notation of all pictures on the 2nd
computer ?

Thank's for your help.

Fabrice from Bordeaux.

What is exactly your plan?
a) to consult the same picture stock on one computer from both computers
b) to have a copy from one computer at the other
c) to have a mixed bag on both machines, partially overlapping

Don't you back up your photos and the digikam metadata? Why not just use
rsync between the two computers?

Re: Several photo on 2 differents computer

Fabrice Deydier
Hi,

I don't want to synchronize my 2 computers.
I just want to duplicate some photos (but not all) on my laptop to work
on it (sort, notation, tags, etc...) and copy back my work on the first
computer.

Is it possible to export some photos from digikam ? Or to write (on the
comment EXIF tags) the properties of my photos on digiKam ?

F.
