I am having problems to get this to work for me...I selected 95 images and
choose Subtract 6 hours, sync the exif and IPTC tags. It appears that all 95 images now have the exact same modified date and time. It appears to be from the first image in the list. As well the EXIF information was not updated so you can still find the original chronological sequence... Has any else experienced this? using Digikam 0.9.1 (Using KDE 3.5.6) , Ubuntu 7.04. KIPI lib ver 0.15. Thanks Hubert _______________________________________________ Digikam-users mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users |

Hmm, I cannot reproduce the problem (using current svn): - select a few images in the Album View - Image -> Adjust Time & Date: Add 10 hours If "View -> Sort Images -> By Date" is ticked (Have you checked this?), the images do appear in the changed order (maybe after changing back to a different folder and then going back). The date which is changed is the one under "Image Information" (not those "Date and Time (digitized)", or "Date and Time (original)". Yes it does work as expected, now that I understand the behavior of the plugin. I double checked the docs and they are in need of some information. Maybe I'll try to draft something.... That would of course be great - any additions are welcome! Remark to the developer team: I just tried to find out about procedure to supply additional documentation, but did not find anything on the digikam web page under "Documentation" or "Contrib". What is the correct approach, and should a short description on this maybe added to the Webpage to encourage contributions? Maybe I'll try to draft something.... Hubert, with docs you mean the handbook, right? (at least I assumed this in for the rest of my reply ;-) > > That would of course be great - any additions are welcome! > > > > Remark to the developer team: > > I just tried to find out about procedure to supply additional > > documentation, but did not find anything on the digikam > > web page under "Documentation" or "Contrib". > > What is the correct approach, and should a short description > > on this maybe added to the Webpage to encourage contributions? > > > What do you mean by documentation ? handbook ? Yes, I was thinking of the handbook. > If yes, i let's Gerhard explain indeep this stuff. That would be very helpful in any case (unless it is already written somwhere ...)! This B.K.O. entry seems also relevant: http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=138880 Best, Arnd _______________________________________________ Digikam-users mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users |

Yes I believe I am also experiencing this problem. I will follow up with the BKO if I can reproduce the problem better.
