Hello,
I just find a big matter with some of my NEF file. It occur when I modify a NEF file with captureNX2 and if I edit metadata after that with Digikam. The result is i can't open this file anymore in CaptureNX2... I'm really afraid of loosing all my modified pictures, and I hope a solution could be found. I attached the exiftool output for the same picture modified by captureNX2 only (filename="normal") and modified by CaptureNX2 and then by Digikam (add a "five star" tag filename="modified") Here are my digikam composant infos : digiKam version 1.0.0-beta1 (rev.: 974351) Exiv2 peut écrire dans un fichier Jp2: Oui Exiv2 peut écrire dans un fichier Jpeg: Oui Exiv2 peut écrire dans un fichier Png: Oui Exiv2 peut écrire dans un fichier Tiff: Oui Exiv2 supports XMP metadata: Oui LibCImg: 130 LibExiv2: 0.18 LibJPEG: 62 LibJasper: 1.900.1 LibKDE: 4.2.4 (KDE 4.2.4) LibKExiv2: 0.6.0 LibKdcraw: 0.5.0 LibLCMS: 118 LibPNG: 1.2.27 LibQt: 4.5.1 LibRaw: 0.7.2 LibTIFF: LIBTIFF, Version 3.8.2 Copyright (c) 1988-1996 Sam Leffler Copyright (c) 1991-1996 Silicon Graphics, Inc. Thanks if anybody finds the matter Nicolas -- Nicolas Boulesteix - Chasseur de lueurs - http://www.photonoxx.fr _______________________________________________ Digikam-users mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users |
It sound like a bug in Exiv2, fixed with current code from svn (next 0.18.2)
Your image is not destroyed. Just a tag is set to a wrong value (endianness encoding).
