Hi!
I'm using digikam-0.9.2 on NetBSD-4.99.24/amd64. I have two questions. The first is about scrollwheel support. In 0.9.1 in the album viewer when viewing a single image I could use the scrollwheel to go to the previous/next images. This stopped working for me in 0.9.2. Does anyone else see this? I don't remember doing any changes in my setup that might affect this. The other question is about pictures coming from an Canon EOS 400D -- gqview-2.1.5 automatically knows how to orient them, but digikam doesn't. When comparing the exif tags as displayed by the applications, gqview shows a "Orientation" tag with "left bottom" for ones that should be turned left by 90 degrees and "top left" for ones that are oriented correctly. I can't find this tag in the ones displayed by digikam. Should I file a bug report about this? Hi! In preview mode the mouse scrollwheel has changed because now preview support zomming and panning. Scrollwheel is used by Qt to move over image. To change current image under preview mode, use CTRL key + mouse wheel instead mouse wheel alone. The other question is about pictures coming from an Canon EOS 400D -- Are you in full exif list or human readable exif list mode ? Look buttons on the top left of Exif sidebar tab to toogle it... Pity - I was used to browse images with mouse-only, that feature is now effectively gone :( > Are you in full exif list or human readable exif list mode ? Just to be sure: In digiKams settings: Setting->Configure digiKam: MetaData is "Show images/thumbs rotated according to orientation tag" turned on? Nope, it wasn't -- it is now and the pictures are turned correctly. Thanks a lot! Some of the thumbnails are still lying on their sides. I did a "rebuild all thumbnails", but from the lines it wrote it didn't really rebuild all of them, just two or three directories (of ~30). The pics with the turned thumbnails display correctly when viewed alone (when I click on them). Or use scrollwheel to move to the next image when image is displayed in full (no scrollbars). m. _______________________________________________ Digikam-users mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users |
