Dear Digikam Team,
First of all i will say thanks to you all for your great work. I use Digikam with my Nikon and Fuji gear and it worked fine. Now i own a Samsung EX-1 camera and have trouble with the Raw Files. Jpegs are handled as usual but he doesnt shows me the .SRW Files. Even the adding the .SRW files to the supported Picture extension section in the configuration Menu results in showing a ikon for it but not decoding them (no picture is shown). DCraw shows the Samsung EX-1 As supported
I am using: Digikam 1.9.0 KDE 4.6 on Opensuse 11.4 DCraw 1.432-4.1 Thanks in advance for your help Best regards, Hoffi _______________________________________________ Digikam-users mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users |
digiKam do not use dcraw to handle RAW file, but libraw :
http://www.libraw.org Please, go to Help/RAW Supported Camera and look if your Samsung camera is supported. Also, look which libraw version you use... If you can provide a sample file to test, this can help to check on my computer. I would love to share some pictures in raw and JPEG but i have no place to store them, do you have a favorite place where i can share them as raw (24MB each)? Right. There is a problem here. Look my screenshot digiKam 2.0.0
running under win7. SRW is recognized as TIFF file not RAW file. It's not a problem of RAW decoding, but of type mime registration in digiKam core. Also, why SRW raw type mime is not recorded in base list of file formats supported. It's the problem. http://www.flickr.com/photos/digikam/5649078162/ Please open a file in KDE Bugzilla, into digiKam section. I will fix it later.
