I installed the program some time ago in anticipation that it would be
useful to me, but without an immediate need, and only explored its GUI a bit. I didn't cooperate with the "First time wizard", which turns out to have been a mistake on my part, because now that I want to use the program, I don't see a way to reload the wizard and configure; digiKam doesn't think this is my first time. Surely there must be a way. I hope someone will offer a clue to finding it. -- Stan Goodman Qiryat Tiv'on Israel _______________________________________________ Digikam-users mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users |

All those options are in Setup dialog so don't need to reload only First Time Wizard. m. _______________________________________________ Digikam-users mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users |
If you want the wizard, remove the digikamrc file from your home folder
(.kde4/share/config/digikamrc). If you already used digiKam, the database will be untouched. The wizard will show up and you just setup the right place to the database. Deleting this file brings up a dialog that asks me to specify a folder for the album; it does not ask for a folder for the database. The same is true for the Settings > Configure DigiKam notebook. How can I specify the database folder? If the database folder is already known to digiKam, how can I get it to share this knowledge with me? -- Stan Goodman Qiryat Tiv'on Israel _______________________________________________ Digikam-users mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users |
