There used to be a set of keyboard shortcuts to assign a number of stars to an image (I think they were the numbers on the keypad by default)
I used them frequently - then automated my workflow - 1 star gets deleted, 2 stars doesn't get up loaded and so on... These shortcuts don't seem to be available any more... Why not? Any chance of getting them back in the next version? - surely if they were in a previous version, one could just copy and paste some code to get them into this version... Can anyone explain why the shortcuts have gone? Rob _______________________________________________ Digikam-users mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users |
shortcuts are always here :

OK, I have checked this, the shortcuts do work...
Is there any reason these aren't listed in the 'configure shortcuts...' dialogue in the settings menu? It makes them much easier to change.

OK, I have checked this, the shortcuts do work... To have the same behaviour that lightroom and aperture (same default shortcut everywhere), not configurable (hard coded) Gilles Caulier _______________________________________________ Digikam-users mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users |
The file you liked to,
Is that just documentation, or is it read in at compile time? Or written at compile time? I compile from source, so I could adjust a few lines in the source to tailor my shortcuts. Rob On 11 November 2011 13:46, Gilles Caulier <[hidden email]> wrote:

It's doc written by hand.
To make this file updated with source, i think Doxygen can be used, but i'm not sure. Or perhaps a magic script which extract all shortcuts strings and descriptions automatically.

I only know strg+1 (2,3...) as shortcuts, and as up to 2.2 that was working. Haven't tried with 2.3 yet. Imo you can set shortcuts in the shortcut configure menu for that. -- Andreas Ege 24 The Birches Shobdon HR6 9NG Mobile: +44.7526.315292 Phone: +44.1568.709166 Mail: [hidden email] http://spheniscid.net Am 11 Nov 2011 um 12:46 schrieb "e-mail robert.m.davies" <[hidden email]>: > There used to be a set of keyboard shortcuts to assign a number of stars to an image (I think they were the numbers on the keypad by default) > I used them frequently - then automated my workflow - 1 star gets deleted, 2 stars doesn't get up loaded and so on... > > > Rob > _______________________________________________ > Digikam-users mailing list > [hidden email] > https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users _______________________________________________ Digikam-users mailing list [hidden email] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/digikam-users |

@andreas:
Do you still have that shortcut available in your shortcut configuration window? Rob On 11 November 2011 22:07, Andreas T. These shortcuts are now "hardcoded" in digikam, they're fixed and can't be
set, so they don't appear in shortcut configuration... If you use the keyboard to make your shortcut, I understand it can be disappointing for you, but since I use mouse gestures with easystroke, I just have to change the set of easystroke.
