Hi, this is maybe a stupid question, but: how do I force Digikam to regenerate the metadata database of an album and its subalbums? The situation is that I have modified EXIF Date/Time of images outside Digikam. Now, when I hover with the mouse over an image, the pop-up displays as "Created: " the old time, while the Date/Time filed in the EXIF tab displays the new, correct one... Thanks for any advice, best, Andreas -- Andreas K. Hi Andreas,
one way (but not the most elegant one) might be: 1. make an advanced search with Album : Search pictures located in = <your album> (this automatically brings up pictures in subalbums, too. At least at my digiKam configuration.) 2. select all images (CTRL + A) 3. menu: "Image" -> "Reread Metadata From Selected Images" Regard, Peter Albrecht On 15.04.2012 00:34, Andreas K. You don't need to perform a search in order to display the content of sub-albums; there is an option in the Display menu for that, the one before last (in french, it is "Affichage -> Inclure la sous-arborescence des albums").
