Hello,

I have shared my draft of GSoC proposal on project: Resizable brush and
Zoomable Canvas for Healing Clone Tool.
Please review it so that I can make the required changes as it is already
7th and our last date to submit proposal is 9th.
Your input and suggestions are most important to us students.

Please also review patches in #272916 and #302946.

Please login to the GSoC webapp, click the Proposals tab, and click on your
prospective students' project titles. In that screen you can see my
questions, comment to your fellow mentors, etc. if you scroll to the
bottom. In the middle you see a link: Open in Docs. Please open the draft
proposals and comment/suggest/correct the students directly.

Hopefully these students have been in your channel and list talking to you
already. If they have not, please connect with them NOW.

I need this, and they need this.

Sorry I didn't see this until now, as I've been very busy helping the
applicants and mentors. Emailing mentors is really only to be done when
nothing else works -- very little research is needed to find the diigKam
IRC channel (#digikam on freenode) and their devel list, digikam-devel. In
fact, you should have been active there all along if you're interested.

Unless you have a well-developed proposal already which has been uploaded
to the GSoC webapp, it's very late to begin, since the deadline to upload
the Final is the 9th of this month. However, we did get a few good
proposals just yesterday, so anything is possible!

Guides are available, certainly, starting with
https://community.kde.org/GSoC/2019 and the links there. The requirements
are there as well. It is expected that prospective students will do basic
research and not wait to be personally guided to go through the necessary
steps. Of course students help one another here on this list, and there is
#kde-soc where that happens, some mentors are there to help, and me.
